Then to spend the evening with these people

Vote for Big House!!

One of my favorite non-profits needs your vote! Big House is an organization designed to meet the needs and improve the quality of life for children in foster care in Lee County. Many of you that grew up with me remember the precious foster children that lived with us. I remember some of their first words or first steps. For one kid, I remember giving him his first birthday cake- at 9 years old. Big House strives to provide opportunities in the lives of foster children that all of us were blessed to have. These opportunities may be art and music lessons, dance classes, sports instruction, haircuts, money for school trips, school yearbooks, birthday parties, summer camps and even family vacations. These activities will be done while reminding children of the unconditional love of Jesus.
Big House is in the running for a grant from Pepsi for $25,000! Isn't that awesome!! Do your part now and vote- http://www.refresheverything.com/bighouse
You can vote once a day until April 30th!

Easter!

Happy Easter! Since my good friend Amanda posted about wanting to make Easter more than pretty clothes and egg hunts, I've really been thinking. I attempted to explain Easter to Colt but I met with a blank stare. I think we'll just stick to Jesus loves me. In the sermon on Easter, our Associate Pastor reminded us that the ressurection was the most important thing that has ever happened in the universe. Wow, I've never thought about the ressurection that way.

We had a family birthday party for Colt on Saturday. He loved having the whole family celebrate his special day. He was singing Happy Birthday again this morning!

Getting ready to hunt some eggs with the cousins.
Annie Grace and her spikey hair. She looks a lot like my dad's baby pictures. Think this makes her a little spoiled? Dad calls her peacock.

Jack really enjoyed the festivities.

Ray, Colt, Trip & Savannah enjoying their finds.

Birthday cupcakes Honey made for Colt.

Obviously he loves food.

Annie Grace watching brother run circles around her.

Getting dressed Easter morning.
