I like marking my calendar for upcoming events that are happening. If you are more "fly by the seat of your pants" kind of person, just move on to the next friend with an updated blog! I'm sure Casey has already closed my blog. Mom says my ducks are in a row and are saluting me as they march by. Casey's ducks are flying above her in a beautiful formation. If she ever included Wes & Heath in the scenerio, their ducks would be shot.

Think Pink Walk- Saturday, October 2nd

Lee County Fair- Wednesday, October 5-Saturday, October 9

On the Tracks- Friday, October 8

E-Cycling & Document Shredding- Saturday, October 9

Trick or Treat- Thursday, October 28

Syrup Soppin- Saturday, October 30 (Ecology Preserve is also having an event this day called Creepy Wonderful Creatures. Does anyone know anything about this?)

Opelika Christmas Parade- Wednesday, December 1

Auburn Christmas Parade- Thursday, December 2

The organization I work for (Keep Opelika Beautiful) coordinates an arts & craft festival in Opelika each year. The event is at the Opelika Monkey Park and is a fundaiser for renovations to a little red caboose donated by Norfolk Southern. In 2011, the event will be Saturday, March 26. All items sold at the event must be natural or handmade. I'm sending out vendor applications soon. I would love to include all you talented people!

Dove Shoot

The morning started off with a struggle to wear camo boots for picture day. Colt was hailed the winner but we made it to school on time and with full bellies! I like to think that makes me the winner. Annie Grace is mobile. Its great that she is able to entertain herself but not so good for Colt's trains, animals and tools.

Colt loved sitting with Wes at the Heath Stewart Dove Shoot. That was probably the name 5 years ago. Now it could be the Heath Stewart Family Dove Shoot.

Bug and Colt thought Pop's scuppernong were yummy. Before they could get a stomach ache, Papooh arrived.

Papooh was the entertainment until this person arrived.

This isn't just any aunt....she's Aunt Fab. That means she gives the rug rats lots of good things to eat. After a not so short trip to the house, Colt & Savannh came back with chocolate smeared across their faces and sweet tea in sippy cups.

Annie Grace doesn't eat real food (she does this manly gagging thing) so she opted to feed Ruby her cherrios.

War Eagle

Annie Grace and I enjoyed tailgating with the boys then going home to watch the game. Colt & Wes enjoyed the game and even stayed until the 4th quarter. Colt doesn't remember going last year (good thing we paid for those tickets!!). I think I have permanently lost my season tickets to Colt. He woke up this morning saying he needed his ticket to go to the game tonight! War Eagle!! He's doing that smile thing again in the picture.
