First, I had sinus surgery which included pain meds, milkshakes, children away, no work, hubby at work, naps on the sofa and watching TV. The procedure went as planned and I didn't have any brusing, swelling and no, I didn't get new boobs- despite what my sister says!
Second, we had our annual girls trip to the lake for 3 days which included 14 adults, yummy food, good drinks, gossip, laughs, no sleep and old magazines. Our Granny Girls Getaway always includes cute t-shirts
The art project is always fun at the beginning when everyone is concentrating and involved.
After 2 hours and lots of grumbling, we complete our projects
This year my SIL made Redneck Wine Glasses for everyone (small mason jars atop candlesticks)
Did I mention that we like to eat?
Already looking forward to next year!
