We started our Independence Day celebration on Thursday night with fireworks in Opelika. We had a great time eating watermelon and playing with friends! Colt loves to eat like a puppy dog. About a year ago I thought this was a stage. Now I'm not so sure.
Friday we went to Centre to see Wes' parents to celebrate Wes' birthday a little early. Saturday we headed to Chattanooga. Colt loved the Aquarium and his new friend Emma. Emma's mom lived with me & Casey in college. This is Colt's smile for the camera.
After a trip to the Aquarium, Discovery Museum, Ben & Jerry's and the pool, we went to the zoo on Sunday. It was not crowded. This bird did not like Wes so it turned into a game.

Colt found goats at the petting zoo. He was sure they were friends with Bo Goat, Oliver, Sunshine or Spotty (my parents goats).
Annie Grace was a wonderful trooper on all our adventures. She enjoyed most of the views from her stroller. She did get to play with Emma's brother, Quinn, toys.

Sunday night Colt enjoyed playing with Emma's toys. Her bike helment was fun but the sillly bands were the best. Colt is still wearing these today.
When we got home on Monday, Wes made peach ice cream. He used peaches from our tree and his new ice cream maker. It was delicious!!
Happy Birthday Wes!!!!
