Granny's Girls Getaway

Granny's Girls Getaway was so much fun this year. Granny is my dad's mother. She is 93 and lives in Troy. Growing up, Gran let us eat ice cream for breakfast, wear whatever we wanted and bought us more than we needed. She loved the outdoors (turkey hunting, fishing & golf), enjoyed traveling (trips to Europe every summer, loved the PCB strip) and called all of us "daaalin". Gran cannot be described in words, only in stories. For GGG, all the girls (15 of us) over the age of 20 meet at our lakehouse for a weekend of wine, food, art classes, swimming, games and gossiping!

We had intentions of a whole group picture but we never sat still long enough

This year we had a Gran Contest. A few of us were good sports and participated. My cousin with the grey wig won.

This little thing was too cute to leave at home. She spent Saturday night with the girls. This may have been the only time she ever touched the floor. Aunt Helen threatened to hide her in her suitcase.
